More illuminated sculpture than lighting fixture, Float strips its elements down to their most essential form and function. The brass piece at its lowest point emits light in two directions: downwards in a concentrated illumination, and upwards to be diffused to a soft glow by the stainless steel shade. The result is a harmony of light and shadow that is inherent to Float's unique balance of shapes.
