Re-wool 2 is woven with a blend of new wool and recycled wool yarn, spun from post-industrial fiber scraps collected from Kvadrat’s own production of woolen textiles. This ensures that the recycled wool is of the same high quality in every batch, and reduces wool fiber waste to almost zero. Re-wool's melange warp, which can support more saturated colors than traditional weaves, makes the textile’s surface reminiscent of embroidered craftwork. The contrasts between the bright and deep hues bring out the tones of the recycled wool for an almost three-dimensional effect.
